This is a painting I recently completed for a good friend’s 40th birthday (I started it around May 2013).  There’s a few hidden things throughout the landscape and a little bit of a number game happening with the 161340:

1 > eye is the clue

6 > hidden numbers is the clue

13 > insects is the clue

40 > visible numbers is the clue
